Today, the Elite Leadership Club members from Sigang Junior High School participated in their fifth training workshop at Master Wang's Woodcarving Studio in Sigang District. They rode their bicycles to the studio and were escorted by Shu-min and Tony Coolidge and two other volunteers from the local community.
When they arrived, they were greeted by Mr. Wang. This time, the woodworking master provided each team of students with rough letter openers that were already carved. The students were asked to polish their pieces of useful art to make it look beautiful. The students were also able to customise the wooden utensil with their own carvings or names.
